Golang has always been something on my list of things to learn and make use of within a production environment for some time. Recently I found myself in the perfect position to start learning it whilst also using it to solve a problem within the project I was working on. This article will mainly be a brief overview about my views and thoughts of Golang and whether or not I would use it going forward to solve future problems.

I have been planning to build my personal website and blog for literally several years! Whilst installing a blog would be the easiest task given the wide variety of platforms available, the problem has been with dedicating time to writing up quality articles. Well now I have decided to find the time to do this, talking of which I decided to use Hugo and I not only love it but would recommend it to anyone else.
